Out to Lunch -- Thursday, July 19th at the Marinette Welcome Center

Joining us this week will be Howie's Pizza from Menominee, Michigan with their out-of-this world Pizza!  As-well-as, The Tasty Traveler and their various food specials;Thursday you can expect to see Deep Fried Oreo on the menu along with some other tasty treats!  Don't forget that various vendors will be on site from Honey to Coffee. Music performed by the Goodfellas.

Civic Center Dome determined hazardous

As determined by the City of Marinette Building Inspector, the City of Marinette is immediately vacating/taking down one of the Civic Center Tennis Domes. The Inspector is taking steps pursuant to the “Immediate Hazard” provisions set forth in the Public Safety & Code Enforcement Committee Policy No. PSCEC 1.0001. 

Pursuant to this policy, presentations will be made regarding this matter by the Building Inspector, Fire Chief and Executive Director of Recreation and Events at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Marinette Public Safety & Code Enforcement Committee.

Street and Boat Launch Closings

Friday, July 13th 5 P.M. Stephenson Island and Landing closed until Sunday July 15th 8 P.M.

Saturday, July 14th 1 A.M. Boom Landing Closed until Sunday July 15th 5 A.M.
Saturday, July 14th Closed to boat traffic on Menominee River up river of Interstate Bridge 5 P.M. to Midnight. (Firework Safety Radius)
Saturday, July 14th 3 A.M. Library Parking lot closed until Sunday July 9th 6 P.M.

Sunday, July 15th  6th Street Boat Launch closed 5 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Sunday, July 15th  Water St  9 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Sunday, July 15th Main St. closed (7th St. to Hall Ave) 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Carney Blvd and Ludington St. will be open for traffic.

*NEW* Parade Route on Main St from 7th St to Wells St.  Parade starts at Noon on Sunday July 15th.

Shuttle Bus drop off and handicapped drop off will be located on Riverside Ave near Stephenson Library for Logging and Heritage Festival.

Free Shuttle Bus from Jack’s Fresh Market in Menominee runs 11 A.M. until 11 P.M. Saturday July 14th and 11 A.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday July 15th.  Please utilize shuttle service.  Limited parking around the event.

Boaters please utilize the Menekaunee Harbor launch during the Heritage and Logging Fest weekend.
