Due to the recent resignation of former City of Marinette Ward 6 Alderperson, Peter Noppenberg, the City of Marinette Common Council is seeking letters of interest from eligible voters residing within City of Marinette Municipal Ward 6 who are interested in representing that district on the City of Marinette Common Council. Interested individuals should submit their letter of interest to: City of Marinette, C/o Mayor’s Office, 1905 Hall Ave., Marinette, WI 54143 no later than Thursday May 28th, 2020. The City of Marinette Common Council intends to appoint and swear in a new Alderperson to the vacant Ward 6 seat at the upcoming Tuesday June 2, 2020 Common Council meeting. Any resident interested should reference City of Marinette’s website to review a City of Marinette ward boundary map to determine if they reside within that ward.
