Community REC Center Collects winter clothing for community

With winter in full swing, Marinette residents, travelers, and businesses came together to

donate warm items to those in need in the Marinette – Menominee area as a part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s annual “Big Bundle Up” campaign.

The Community REC Center collected over 400 items of gently used items during the duration of the campaign that
ran from October 25th – November 25th.

“We are very grateful to everyone who donated during the campaign. All clothing goes to help the local shelters that are in need of items this winter season.” says, Melissa Ebsch, marketing & tourism director for the City of Marinette.

All donations stay in the community and will be donated to various charities within the twin cities.

The Community REC Center wishes to Thank everyone who donated during the 2019 Bundle Up Campaign.
